Construction of the new State of the Art Northwest Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital. The facilities comprise four linear accelerators for radiotherapy treatment, diagnostic and outpatient facilities, together with the expansion and remodelling of the dedicated Chemotherapy Unit. The accommodation is over three main floors with the upper floors providing the single bedroom in–patient accommodation, treatment planning and ancillary support. At basement level there is carparking and service tunnels linking to the main hospital network. Externally the landscaping compliments the building fabric and includes landscaped courtyards, roof terraces, a woodland trail and public realm.
