Demolition of the existing Science Library at Chlorine Gardens, Belfast with the construction of a new 11,000m2 five storey split level building on a restricted site with varying site levels, boundary conditions and difficult ground conditions. The new facilities include general teaching spaces and lecture theatres, under graduate and post graduate teaching labs. There are also CAT ll and CAT lll research labs and assocated office and research development spaces. The building includes double height foyer spaces, café and break–out areas together with admin and ancillary accommodation with external landscaping and siteworks.
